General
ALL MODELSWhat is a point repair packer?▼
An inflatable packer used for trenchless point repair (CIPP patching): a fiberglass mat soaked in resin is wrapped around the packer, positioned at the damaged spot inside the pipe, and inflated. The resin cures against the pipe wall, the packer is deflated and removed - leaving a hard structural patch, with no digging.
How does a point repair go step by step?▼
Cut the fiber glass mat, impregnate it with the two-component silicate resin, wrap it on the packer, push the packer to the damage (air push rods or rope), inflate, wait for the resin to cure, deflate and pull the packer out. The patch stays bonded to the pipe wall.
When is point repair the right choice instead of relining?▼
When the damage is local - a crack, an open joint, root intrusion or a leaking connection. A point repair fixes that one spot in hours at a fraction of the cost of relining the whole section; widespread damage still calls for a full liner.
What is a Flexible Bypass Packer?▼
A packer with a flow-through core, so sewage keeps flowing while the resin cures - no bypass pumping needed. It covers DN100-1000 in lengths from 1000 to 5000 mm at 1-2.5 bar.
What are Multi Size Lateral Packers for?▼
Repairs in laterals and house connections: one packer covers a span of small diameters (25-600 mm) in lengths from 600 to 5000 mm, inflating at 1-3 bar.
What does the Bendy packer do?▼
It bends. The Multi Size Bendy Packer negotiates elbows and curved sections that rigid packers cannot pass, covering 50-300 mm pipes with 1250-1750 mm lengths at 2-3 bar.
When do I use a Wide Size Lateral Packer?▼
For long patches and wide diameter spans: 35-1000 mm coverage with contact lengths from 600 up to 6600 mm at 1.5-4 bar - the tool for repairing long defects in one shot.
What is a Corner Repair Packer?▼
A packer shaped to repair damage at bends and junctions in small pipes (35-200 mm), with lengths of 300-2000 mm at 2.5-3 bar - where a straight packer cannot seat properly.
What are Pillow Type Packers for?▼
Large and non-circular profiles: the pillow shape folds through restricted access and inflates at 0.5-1 bar to fit 600-2000 mm sections with contact lengths of 1000-3400 mm.
Why choose the Pillow packer with bypass?▼
Same large-profile coverage as the pillow type (600-2000 mm), plus a flow-through core so the line keeps draining during the cure - for live large-diameter sewers.
What resin do Plugline packers use?▼
A two-component silicate resin supplied as Component A (14 kg) and Component B (21 kg) cans, in Winter and Summer grades matched to ambient temperature. It is the curing agent for all Plugline CIPP point repairs.
What is the Fiber Glass Mat?▼
The carrier material for the resin: EFG 600+750 fiberglass, supplied as 25 m rolls, 125 cm wide, at 600+750 g/m2 fabric weight. Cut to patch size, impregnate with resin, wrap on the packer.
